Show Notes

My interview today is with historian Brian DeLay. Brian DeLay received his PhD from Harvard University in 2004. He taught for five years at the University of Colorado, Boulder before taking a position at UC Berkeley, where he is now associate professor of history. He is author of a number of articles and essays, and co-author of the U.S. history textbook Experience History (McGraw-Hill). DeLay’s 2008 book, War of a Thousand Deserts: Indian Raids and the U.S.-Mexican War (Yale University Press), won prizes from several different scholarly organizations.
